A drawing project I did earlier this year that I almost forgot about. Eighteen bound books of rubbings mapping the textures found on the ground of the route I take to and from home and school. When you flip through them, the sound of the pages begins to mimic the sound of footsteps on the street, and seeing the textures of the ground passing quickly by invokes the sense of being in motion, walking the route that these rubbings were made from.
